The Logistics
All riders should read this to get the best from the day.
Pre ride:
- Complete the Registration and provide payment.
- Donations to the Pajama Foundation are optional however, entries for the prizes (and there are some good ones) are based on money raised. Every $50 is one entry.
- Jerseys ordered (prior to the cut off) will be avialable on the morning.
On the morning:
- Arrive early: Checkin will be avialable as soon as we are set up. (aiming for 4am)
- Number allocation will be random. (Each checkin Volunteer will have a stack of numbers)
- Numbers are to be placed on your back.
- Ordered jerseys can be collected from the jersey desk before or after the ride.
- It is highly advisible to do a warm up prior to the ride. (Hill 1 is not far from the start)
During the ride:
- Buderim 9 is a challenge ride! How many hills can you complete in the 3 hour time limit! The premit covers 5am to 8am.
- The Buderim 9 is organised and manned by Volunteers.
- There will be a lead convoy which will include Police.
- There will be a SAG wagon and mechanic.
- There will be on-course arrows, and on-course marshals, however we stronly suggest you load the course into your computer.
- You need 20min to complete Hill 9, if you arrive at the bottom of Dixom after 7:40, you should turn right to return to the Start/Finish.
- Do not throw anything away during the ride.
- Once you finish you must check-out of the ride then return your number! Your check-out time will be recorded along with the number of hills completed.
- If you want an exact time - record it on STRAVA or similar
Post Ride:
- Ensure you have checked out of the ride and returned your numbers. (Can't stress this enough)
- You must be present at the presentations to win any of the prizes!
- Please leave the grounds clean and tidy.
Notes:
- Toilets, Food and Coffee are available at Wanderers.
- On-course public toilets can be found at Lions park and in the park opposite Gloucester Road.
